Centres for Clinical Treatment Research scheme
The Centres for Clinical Treatment Research are to carry out top-calibre research to improve treatment for Norwegian patients. The primary research task for these centres is to perform clinical studies. The centres are also designed to help to translate basic discoveries into clinical applications, increase national and international collaboration, and train skilled clinicians and clinical researchers. The centres receive support for a total of eight years (an initial five-year period with the possibility of a three-year extension).
