About the event
Professor Eystein Jansen at the University of Bergen has served as Vice President of the European Research Council (ERC) since 2023. He has also been a member of the ERC Scientific Council since 2019.
He is now stepping down from his position in the ERC leadership. In this connection, he would like to share his experiences from the ERC. This may be useful for those considering applying for ERC funding, working as EU advisers, or who have already received an ERC grant.
The University of Bergen and the Research Council of Norway therefore invite researchers, leaders, support staff, and former ERC grantees in Norway to a seminar on European research and the ERC.
The seminar will be held mainly in English. You are welcome to submit questions in advance of the event.
